These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the expedition services we provide. By submitting an enquiry or entering into an expedition agreement with us, you agree to these Terms.
Bransfild Antarctica Ltd. provides premium Antarctic expedition services, including: signature group expeditions to the Antarctic Peninsula departing from Ushuaia, Argentina; private expedition arrangements; concierge pre-travel support including visa assistance and global transfer coordination; onboard expedition programming, guided excursions, and hospitality. All services are subject to availability and to the conditions set out in these Terms.
Submission of the contact form or any other enquiry constitutes an expression of interest only and does not create a binding contract. Our expedition specialists will contact you within 5 business days to discuss availability, routing, pricing, and requirements. All pricing, departure dates, inclusions, and availability are subject to confirmation during private consultation and in writing.
A binding reservation is only created upon: (a) written confirmation of your booking by Bransfild Antarctica Ltd.; and (b) receipt of the required deposit. The deposit amount is specified in your booking confirmation and is typically a minimum of 30% of the total expedition cost. The deposit is non-refundable except as specified in the Cancellation Policy below.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover.
Antarctic expeditions operate in extreme and unpredictable environments. We reserve the right to alter or cancel itineraries, landings, activities, routing, and schedules due to weather, ice conditions, sea state, safety considerations, regulatory requirements, or other operational factors beyond our control. No refund or compensation is payable for changes made for safety or force majeure reasons.
Force majeure includes but is not limited to: acts of God, extreme weather events, war or civil unrest, pandemic or public health emergency, government action or restriction, port closures, and mechanical breakdown of vessels or equipment.
All guests are required to hold comprehensive travel insurance that includes: medical evacuation and emergency repatriation, trip cancellation, personal liability, and coverage for polar expedition activities. Proof of insurance must be provided no later than 60 days prior to departure. Bransfild Antarctica Ltd. reserves the right to deny boarding to any guest unable to provide evidence of adequate coverage.
Antarctic expeditions involve physical activity including zodiac embarkation and disembarkation, walking on uneven terrain, and exposure to cold. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate. A medical declaration form will be provided during the booking process. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any guest whose medical condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
